Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love because love is where Hemingway makes the difference. We feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

Our church offers a traditional setting for your most sacred celebration.

Services

Services are held in the main Sanctuary :

Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Sunday Morning services are at 11:00 AM.

Wednesday night bible study at 7:00 PM.

Any additional services will be announced on our notice board and on our website.

Calendar

Due to COVID-19, Hemingway Temple AME - DC has closed our physical office but we are available via phone or email for any assistance needs. We have also suspended all face to face meetings and activities, and will continue to evaluate this rapidly evolving situation. The health and safety of our congregation, and community is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding.
